Mr. Bastiaan’s  Management career spans over two decades serving as Director, Global Markets for ABC-Amega Inc (2006-2008), and Managing Director, Europe  (2003-2006); Managing Director CMSS (Credit Management Solutions and Services) (2002-2003); and with DSM NV both as Global Credit Risk Manager(2001-2002) and as Credit Department Manager ( 1986-2001).

In this progression Mr. Bastiaan held both tactical and operational responsibilities extending beyond credit risk to areas including marketing & sales, banking, accounting and tax administration.

Mr. Bastiaan has continuously participated in boards of director beginning  with his tenure as board member of the Ice-hockey club Eaters (Geleen, Netherlands) from 1993-1996, and then: Board member of the Dutch Association of Credit Management (VVCM) (1995-1999); member European Chemical Credit Association (1988-2002) ; and FCIB (Association for Finance, Credit and International Business), as board member and advisor (1995-2008)and served as their Chairman (2002-2004).

Mr. Bastiaan is fluent in several languages, has published articles in trade and credit periodicals, and participated and presented in many international forums and conferences. He also holds designation as Certified International Credit Executive (CICE).
