How sourcing solutions can boost your credit management

Mannes Westhuis is the Chief Executive Officer of Alec Burlington International BV and the president of the Dutch Credit Management Association (VVCM) since 2002. After graduating for his law degree at the University of Utrecht in 1991 mr Westhuis has been working in the credit management services in several positions. Varying from head of the lawyers department at a bailiff’s office, credit risk manager at a wholesale company, head of the credit management services within the shared service centre of the Randstad group, to COO and CEO of supplying companies of credit management services in The Netherlands, like Alec Burlington.

Mr Westhuis is serving the Dutch Credit Management Association for many years. Under his inspiring leadership the VVCM has made a prominent growth in members. The VVCM offers authoritative and well recognized scholarships in credit management.

Mr Westhuis is also a member of the council of the Federation of European Credit Management Associations (FECMA) and the Advisory Committee of the Dutch Government regarding Import-, Export and Investment Guarantees.

Mr Westhuis has published several articles in Credit magazines and trade journals.

He is a well known speaker and moderator at credit conferences and forums.
