Prof. Xiaoju. Zhao is now the President and Executive Director of Shanghai International Banking & Finance Institute (SIBFI); Professor of Shanghai University of Finance & Economics (SUFE).

She was the director of the banking department of the School of Finance in SUFE during June 1998 and March 2003; the Deputy Dean of the School of Finance in SUFE during June 1999 and April 2004.

She is now still the Vice Dean of the Credit Research Centre of SUFE, the President of Banking Research Institute of SUFE, Board Member of China Finance Academy, Member of China Market Credit Management Association, Specialist in Expert Committee of China Chartered Credit Manager, Expert of Shanghai Investment Consulting Cooperation, and Expert of Commercial Bank Expert Group of Shanghai Finance Association.
